New Barn Farm was, until recently, a working farm. The previous owners wished to see this beautiful Oxfordshire farm they had worked for so many years, preserved. However modern farming makes the 30 acres of the farm difficult to maintain as a traditional part of the Oxfordshire farming community. They have passed on the farm to BCL to re-establish as three homes.

During 2008 BCL will produce an elegant meeting of old and new to provide a modernised farmhouse, which retains the character of the old and introduce exciting life to what was the hub of the farm. Additionally BCL will breath new life into the existing 19th Century barns to create modern homes in keeping with the BCL ideal that homes should change with the lifestyle of their owners to provide flexible living spaces in which to fulfil comfortable and luxurious spaces throughout the years. The barns have spacious out buildings which will become integral parts of each home.

New Barn Farm will protect the surrounding area lying as it does on the edge of a conservation area.

To celebrate this new lease of life the Farmhouse will be named Woodside Farmhouse and include its’ own gardens and private land of approximately 5/6 Acres. The two barns will be named Courtyard Barn, to celebrate its’ use in former times as store to the farm, and Woodside Barn to reflect and celebrate the exquisite situation all three homes benefit from. Each barn will have land allocated to it. This land would be ideal as Pony Paddocks or similar.
