Following site acquisition the business’s in-house design & project management capability utilises its vast experience and contacts in the fields of planning, architecture, interior design and construction to maximise every site’s potential in a way that is appropriate and sympathetic, and that enhances the wider environment.

The end result is the construction of some of the finest, most unique properties in Southern England.

Other business activities

Design services: utilising BCL’s vast experience the business also provides a full design service from interior design and small residential extensions to large new build construction projects.

Equity investing: As a result of the business’s strong financial position, BCL has invested outside of its core area in other businesses in the Thames Valley. The investment criteria is specifically equity stakes up to £0.25m in small but profitable businesses with growth potential. The most recent example of a BCL investment has been in an equity stake in fine art printer Oxford Giclee Ltd (www.oxfordgiclee.co.uk).
